“My eye catches the nuances of common objects and I exaggerate and at times manipulate them into creative concepts. I find myself extremely interested in the mystery of shadows which evoke the spirit of each object. In those shadows, I play with multiple colors and textures.”

I was recently humbled by winning first place in the Ojai Museum's 2nd Annual Juried Show in October 2009. The images that I submitted were of my new Hand Series so I feel very lucky to have the 3 jurors choose mine as one of the best in show. While I have won many awards in the past, I always feel blessed when my peer artists accept my more contemporary art pieces. Thanks to all.

Please Note: Some images may have been cropped for storage. If you're interested in the purchase of any art work, I would be glad to send full image for your review and consideration. Also, most drawings have been shot through large plastic envelopes to protect them while being handled and stored.
